Vote Yes-Protect Minnesota

Everybody in Minnesota needs to vote yes to The Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment. The Amendment will be on the Presidential ballot on November 4th. It will be phrased as follows:

Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to dedicate funding to protect our drinking water sources; to protect, enhance, and restore our wetlands, prairies, forests, and fish, game, and wildlife habitat; to preserve our arts and cultural heritage; to support our parks and trails; and to protect, enhance, and restore our lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater by increasing the sales and use tax rate beginning July 1, 2009 by three-eights of one percent on taxable sales until the year 2034?

This issue about protecting our land and water in Minnesota is the only issue that both Norm Coleman and Al Franken agree on. That is how important it is.

Also, check this out. This is the reason why we need to vote yes to ratify this amendment. Did you know that:

In Washington County 43 out of it's 83 lakes are polluted lakes. 2 of these lakes (Big Carnelian and Jane) are used for human consumption. Big Carnelian has mercury in the fish tissue and Jane has Perfluorooctane Sulfonate in it. That means the people who get their water supply or fish from these lakes are drinking polluted water and eating contaminated fish. That is a terrible situtation and needs to be fixed. Voting yes to this amendment will clean all of the lakes in Minnesota.

So Vote yes to The Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment on November 4th along with your vote for Barack Obama!

P.S. If you want to see the polluted lakes in your county go to

Wow McCain

Way to run a negative campaign instead of serious of debate John McCain. Negative attacks will not win this election, especially because they are very false. Do you make attacks like comparing Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton because you know your going to lose?

The republicans can not win this election. The ecomony will get worse and gas prices will continue to rise if they do. Not to mention more and more of our soldiers will die for uneccesary reasons.

This video is Obama's response to all of McCain's negative attacks. You should go here to watch it:
